Additional Information

Currently, my son and I farm the tillable acres to corn and soybeans. But I would like to explore some diversified farming in the areas of vegetables and/or flowers. I could devote 3-5 acres in partnership or rental with some one to grow more direct-to-consumer products. I've always grown a garden, and have planted prairie grasses and forbs into CREP ground. But I have not focused on the marketability of vegetables and flowers. I'm interested in helping and partnering with someone who has the knowledge and elbow grease to make this ground productive and sustainable with the aforementioned crops (or others). Our farm is getting too small to grow corn and soybeans profitably. I'm hoping someone can look at some of this land and come up with a good plan for the future. I am not initially interested in making money off of the 3-5 acres, but I don't want to lose money, or be encumbered by too much manual labor (I'm 70). Thank you for your consideration. I will reimburse anyone's time and mileage who visits here and looks the land over, regardless of whether we reach a plan or not .
