In recent years, our 80 acres of cropland have been leased for conventional corn and soy rotation. An NCRS soil survey, both tabular and spatial, were completed in 2022. We have a forest management plan for the woodland (2022).

Additional Information

In 2020, my husband and I purchased this Zanesville property as a place to live and retire. With striking views in all directions, we love all the outdoor pursuits our property offers - especially time spent in the garden, reading on our porch, and hiking in the woods.

We are interested in finding farming partners who are passionate about engaging in regenerative agricultural practices with us. While not a farmer myself, I have spent my career promoting and advocating for local and sustainable agriculture. We know the issues involved and want to be a responsible partner to your farming operation and to establish a tenant partnership with a like-minded farmer who shares our values and goals and are willing to creatively work with you to establish your business in ways that are mutually beneficial. Our primary goal is to be good stewards of our land and supportive partners to the farmers we collaborate with.

We are open to various agricultural pursuits (vegetables, orchards, hay, pastured livestock) and we are flexible in our ideas and approaches. We believe in the importance of sustainable practices that prioritize the health of the land, promote ecological balance, and contribute positively to our local community.
