Tenure Arrangement

Tenure arrangement:

Property for rent

Business partnership

Property for rent:

Our plan is to lease the 1+acre to a farmer that is wanting to start or expand a market garden. We are wanting to help give someone a head start on creating a business. In exchange we are wanting some food(a little of whatever is grown) at first until profit is started and then we would revisit the terms of the lease.

Additional Information

We are creating an Agrihood,  a small community (6 homes) around the gardens. The barn is finished, which is a community center-get together place to support the families and the gardens. There is a full kitchen and space to have small classes-lunches-dinners- Whatever we can do to support and create a sense of community with the families and neighborhood. We are a creative group of people looking for solutions for a world that seems disconnected and out of sync with nature and its inhabitants.  We are providing this oportunity as a way of giving back-or paying it forward. We love brainstorming and colaborating with others to solve problems and create new visions. There also would be opportunities to start a CSA if so desired with the neighborhoods in the area. We are located just a 1/3 of a mile from Alum Creek reservoir and surrounded by Alum Creek State park, but also close to neighborhoods.                                                                                    I believe this a tremendous opportunity for an ambitious, creative person and we look forward to an exciting future of working together!                                                                                                                               You can email me- Kari Lindberg -       lindberg29shire@gmail.com
