Experience

Please describe your past and/or present farming experience:

I am currently consulting and planning a 40 person CSA for a farm in Cincinnati. I have worked 4 seasons as the assistant farm manager on a market garden in Northern Kentucky (full time). We had an 87 person CSA and delivered to restaurants around the Cincinnati area. I've worked with all stages of growth during the season: starting seeds in the greenhouse + care/maintenance, hardening off, cultivating, transplanting, irrigation, harvest, wash + pack and deliveries. I also have experience pruning apple trees at an orchard in Northern Kentucky. I recently started an herbal business making and selling body products (salves, lotion bars, lip balm, body butter, etc.) using herbs grown on local farms.
