Additional Information

This homestead farm, part of an organic homestead "greenyhood", mostly organic 4000 contiguours acres(not far from United Plant Savers), is 30 miles south of Athens where many other small orgaic farmers thrive in the shadow of Ohio University, a cultural haven for rural living.   The Ohio River is seven miles away where Pomeroy, the closest town is located.  Rutland a lovely village with a few amenities is 3 miles away.  We do have WIFI.

Our farm has hosted cows, llamas, pigs, chickens and all kinds of garden crops.  The perma acre was cleared and mulched three years past and ready for a dream to happen.  The crown jewel on the farm is a brand new 20X40 greenhouse which invites someone with vision, energy and desire to create a business with.

The low rent, three bedroom, wood stove heated one bath farmhouse has a solarium for growing use too. It does not have to be part of the land lease. A phone conversation or email is the best way to gather more information.    (740)416-0818
