Additional Information

We've just retired after nearly 50 years growing primarily organic veggies.  We plan to stay in home as long as able, though we're 72 and 74 respectively-one with disorder which could easily put a move of fast track.  Farm is uniquely situated just 45 min. from downtown Pittsburgh (35 on a good day), thus markets and off-farm employment of all sorts are not far away.  Through our careers, we've marketed veggies to every level of wholesale as well as farmers' markets and a very large CSA (1000 members just last year).  We're also just 10 min. from Zelienople--a vibrant, classic, small town which is becoming a local foods dining destination.  As well, we're just 20 min. from the Ohio River valley towns of Rochester, Beaver, Ambridge, and Beaver Falls.  Mention all these since until farmhouse opens up, affordable housing is nearby.
