Bianca was born and raised in northeast Pennsylvania. She cherishes her early childhood memories helping her grandfather in his 1/4 acre vegetable garden. She then started farming during college to better understand our food system. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture she continued farming, filled with passion and dedicated to stewarding the land holistically, while raising and growing food for people. She's been farming for 6 years, having experience with row crops, perennial fruits, industrial hemp, chickens, and honeybees. Ethan was born and raised in southern Ohio where he grew up working and roaming the fields of his aunt and uncle's grain and tobacco farm. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors in Fine Art he set out to embody his passion as a generalist, honing his skills as a fabricator, mechanic, educator, tradesman, artist, and environmental advocate. He has experience with industrial hemp and grain crops.

During our startup we would need a small tractor to break ground, but that can potentially be rented for short term use. Our plan is a no-till regenerative design, so we wouldn't need that much large equipment. Long term grain production might require us to get/build a grain harvester, but that is later down the road.

A brief outline of our farm vision: · Increasing awareness and support for a more localized food system · Years 1-5: Establishment of a crop rotation containing no till vegetables and cover crops · Create/maintain a low-to-no till system that focuses on regenerative practices o Educate on farming practices that pull carbon from the atmosphere o Minimize the need to use heavy equipment o Maintain profitable yields o Work with local universities to document and explore the effects of these farming practices · Maintain a welcoming space for people who are interested in what we do (agrotourism) · Years 6-10: Diversification through the gradual addition of perennial crops and agroforestry practices, including holistic grazing · Add staple food crops like wheat for bread, corn for flour, and ancient grains into the crop rotation
