Farmer Profile for Chris Whitmer

Experience

Please describe your past and/or present farming experience:

I spent the majority of my summers growing up on my grand parent's horse farm outside of Salem, Oregon. Duties included feeding, watering and caring for horses. I exercised geldings, managed grazing, and performed some limited horse breaking duties. General farm labor including repair, construction/demolition of facilities and even some gardening were all part of the job.
