Please describe your past and/or present farming experience:
I am starting my 4th season as the assistant farm manager on a market garden in Northern Kentucky (full time). We have a 75 person CSA and deliver to restaurants around the Cincinnati area. I work with all stages of growth during the season: starting seeds in the greenhouse + care/maintenance, hardening off, cultivating, transplanting, harvest, wash + pack and deliveries. I also have experience pruning apple trees at a Northern Kentucky orchard.

I'd like to find around 20 acres (half wooded) to start my own vegetable market garden and medicinal herb farm (1-2 acres) and, ideally, a small fruit orchard. When I'm not farming, I'm foraging and running my business, Effloresce Herbals, where I make handmade herbal body products using herbs and foraged plants from the farm/surrounding woods (https://www.etsy.com/shop/effloresceshop). My end goal would be to sell produce at farmer's markets, sell medicinal herbs wholesale, and continue/expand Effloresce Herbals to include teas, spice blends, tinctures and a wider variety of plant medicine, while living a self sufficient lifestyle.
