Farmer Profile for Greg Carpenter

Lindsey Carpenter

Experience

Please describe your past and/or present farming experience:

My wife and I began a small pastured poultry operation in the Spring of 2019. We successfully raised turkey and ducks to harvest in movable coops on pasture. They were moved daily. We have ambition to scale that up into larger tractors that move daily behind cattle that are also moved daily. We have attended a week long workshop on urban farming and we hope to take those ideas and build an intensive organic market gardening operation as well.
